Synesther" is an interactive installation that explores the uncharted territory of non-verbal, multisensory communication. Inspired by an imagined alien species communicating through emotions rather than words, the project enables participants to translate their feelings into dynamic sensory outputs such as light, sound, and scent, while receiving responses in a unique olfactory language. Combining Arduino for real-time hardware control and P5.js for synchronized projections and soundscapes, Synesther delivers an immersive experience where emotions become tangible. Exhibited in a public installation, it invited visitors to engage with the system, translating emotions into sensory feedback, and showcasing the transformative potential of technology in reshaping how we connect and communicate.
